Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LogicIgniter LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“LogicIgniter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with Rougelio(the “Service”), available at rougelio.com.
Rougelio is a client-feedback and review platform for freelancers and agencies. Because of how the Service works, this policy covers two groups of people:
- Account holders— the freelancers and agencies who create a Rougelio account to manage projects and collect feedback (“Users”).
- Reviewers — the clients and collaborators a User invites to view work and leave feedback, usually through a review link, without creating an account.
If you are a Reviewer, note that the User who invited you decides what projects to create and what content to share, and acts as the controller of that project’s data. We process it to provide the Service to that User.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@rougelio.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide as a User
- Account details: your name and email address, and authentication credentials managed through our infrastructure provider.
- Profile information you choose to add.
- Project and workspace content: project names, descriptions, the work you upload for review, and configuration you set.
Information from Reviewers
- The email address a User provides so we can deliver a review link to you.
- Feedback you submit: comments, approvals, and other responses.
- Files you upload, including screenshots, which may contain images of the work being reviewed or other material you choose to include.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical and log data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps. We use IP address in particular to protect the Service (for example, rate-limiting to prevent abuse).
- Essential cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely (see Section 6).
Waitlist information
- If you join a waitlist or early-access list, we collect your email address for that purpose.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (such as health or biometric data), and we ask that you not submit such data through feedback or uploads.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including delivering review links, storing feedback, and rendering uploaded files.
- Send service communications — transactional emails such as feedback notifications, account messages, and security alerts.
- Send occasional product updates about Rougelio where permitted, which you can opt out of at any time. We will only send marketing-style messages where we have a lawful basis to do so, and every such message includes an unsubscribe option.
- Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms (including rate-limiting and fraud prevention).
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
We do notsell personal information, and we do not use your content or your Reviewers’ content to train third-party advertising profiles.
3. Legal bases (for individuals in the EU/UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you (or the inviting User) requested.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and improve our product, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — for any optional marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.
4. How we share information — our service providers
We share personal information only with the service providers (“subprocessors”) that help us run Rougelio, each under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. As of the date above, these are:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file storage |
| Resend | Sending transactional and service emails |
| Vercel | Application hosting and delivery |
| Upstash | Rate-limiting and abuse prevention |
| Cloudflare | DNS, content delivery, and security |
As the Service grows we may add providers — for example, a payment processor when paid plans launch, or an AI provider to power feedback features. We will update this list and, where the change is material, notify you.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify affected Users).
5. Reviewer and client data
When a User invites Reviewers and uploads work for review, the User determines what is collected and shared for that project and is responsible for having the right to share it. We process that data on the User’s behalf to operate the Service. If you are a Reviewer and want your information accessed, corrected, or deleted, you can contact us at the address above, and we will assist or direct your request to the relevant User.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and operate the Service securely. These cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.
We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required (for example, for visitors in the EU/UK), ask for your consent first.
7. International data transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you are located in the EU, UK, or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) offered by our providers.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete a project or close your account, we delete the associated content and files within a reasonable period, except where we are required or permitted to retain it. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 9).
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information.
- Port your information to another service.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any right, email support@rougelio.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level security on stored data, time-limited signed links for private files, and rate-limiting to prevent abuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law.
11. Children
Rougelio is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
